What Does an Art Juror Look For?
|
Many artists want to submit their artwork to a juried show or “Call to Artists,” which can be frustrating and disappointing if their work is not accepted. Please join us for an informational presentation by professional gallery director, Cynthia Abraham, focusing on what jurors are looking for in submittal applications and how to increase your chances of being accepted. The presentation will cover the different types of applications, submittal expectations, and tips for success. A brief individual art critique will conclude the presentation. Since most applications are juried online - feel free to bring an image of your art to be reviewed, if desired.
