CALL TO ARTISTS AND PROSPECTUS – 2026 MEMBERSHIP SHOW

The Gallery at 48 Natoma

EDHAA members are invited to participate in our 2026 Membership Show at The Gallery at 48 Natoma, in Folsom, California, from June 29 – August 20, 2026. The theme for this year’s show is “Perspectives” – think atmospheric changes in the landscape, vanishing points, macro or foreshortened vantages, etc….

All EDHAA members are eligible to participate, but there is limited space available in the Community Gallery (approximately 35 to 38 2D works, and 10 to 12 3D works), so participation will be on a first-come basis.

This will be a judged show, with interpretation of the theme being a factor weighted heavily by our judges. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
                              Award Categories - 2D and 3D
                              For each Category:

                              First Place.              $100
                              Second Place.         $75*
                              Third Place             $50*

                              People's Choice     $100**
* Each category subject to entry minimums – there must
be at least 5 entries in that category for a 2nd place to be
awarded; and at least 7 entries for a 3rd place to be awarded.

**The Peoples’ Choice Award will be based on votes cast by Gallery visitors between the opening date (June 29) and 6:30 pm, July 17th (the date of the Artists’ Reception).

Instructions and Important Dates and Times
  • Complete Application and pay on-line (see below). An Application is not deemed received until all information is complete (no “to-be-determined”), including appropriately identified photos of submitted work. Remember, space is limited, and acceptance into the show is determined on a first-come basis for fully-completed applications. Due: NLT June 5, 2026.

  • Complete the Member Profile Form if you have not already done so. The association uses this information for the promotion of member artists and their works. 

  • Artwork Requirements: The theme for this year’s show is: “Perspectives” – While other works are permitted, interpretation of the theme is a heavily weighted consideration for the judging.
    •  2D Artworks – All 2D work needs to be ready for hanging – i.e., framed or gallery wrapped, wired (no saw-toothed hangers), dry, and professional appearance. Staff reserves the right to reject artwork that doesn’t meet these requirements. Maximum width is 36 inches (unframed), maximum weight 14 lbs.
    • 3D Artworks - A limited number of pedestals (approximate size 16 x 16) are available. (Pedestals and display cases are not locked.)

  • Friday, June 26, 2026, 10 am to 11 am - Artwork Delivery: To The Gallery at 48 Natoma (address: 48 Natoma Street, Folsom, CA).
    • All artwork must have a tag or label on the back or bottom identifying the name of the artist, the name of the piece, and the price (or NFS).
    • Also, remember to bring a completed Artist Exhibition Agreement and (if artwork is for sale) a completed IRS W-9 Form. (Gallery payments will not be made until a completed and signed form is presented.)

  • June 29 – August 20, 2026 - Exhibition Dates: Check Gallery Hours by clicking here.

          All art is to remain on display until the end of the Exhibition.

  • Friday, July 17, 2026, 6 pm to 8 pm – Artist’s Reception: Reminder – The People’s Choice Award will be based on the votes of Gallery visitors cast between the opening date of the Exhibit (June 29) and 6:30 pm on July 17th . Awards Presentation will be at approximately 6:45 pm, July 17th.
 
  • Friday, August 21, 2026, 10 am to 11 am – Artwork Pickup
